Kürtçede Çoğul — Ders 17
──────────────────────────────
ÇOĞUL EKİ
Kürtçede (Kurmanci) isimler tek başına çoğul eki almaz. Çoğul ekleri -an ve -ên olmak üzere iki tanedir. -ên sadece tamlamalarda tamlanan için kullanılır; -an ise geçişli fiillerin şimdiki ve gelecek zamanında nesne, geçmiş zamanında ise özne için kullanılır. Bu, Kürtçenin ergatif bir dil olmasından kaynaklanır.
Kurallar: Eril isimler genellikle -an alır. Dişil isimler genellikle -ên alır. İsim ünlü ile bitiyorsa araya -y- girer: -yan.
Örnekler:
kur → kuran (oğul → oğullar)
bav → bavan (baba → babalar)
keç → keçên (kız → kızlar)
dayik → dayikên (anne → anneler)
mal → malan (ev → evler)
Heval hatin. (Arkadaş geldi. / Arkadaşlar geldi.)
Heval dê were. / Heval dê werin. (Arkadaş gelecek. / Arkadaşlar gelecek.)
Geçişli Fiiller: Geçmiş zamanda özne bükümlü, nesne yalındır. Şimdiki ve gelecek zamanda özne yalın, nesne bükümlüdür.
Ez hevalan dibînim. (Ben arkadaşları görüyorum.)
Min heval dîtin. (Ben arkadaşları gördüm.)
Heval hatin. (Arkadaşlar geldi.)
HEYE / HENE
(Evde kedi yok.)
Li vir pirtûk tune. (Burada kitap yok.)
Sahiplik: Heye ve hene bükümlü zamirlerle (min, te, wî/wê...) kullanılarak "sahip olmak" anlamı verir.
Min hespek heye. (Benim bir atım var.)
Wî mehînek hebû. (Onun bir kısrağı vardı.)
Me hespek heye. (Bizim bir atımız var.)
TAMLAMALARDA ÇOĞULLUK
Tamlamalarda, tamlanan (ait olan) -ên ekini alır, tamlayan (ait olan kişi/şey) ise -an ekini alır.
Pirtûkên şagirtan — Öğrencilerin kitapları
Zarokên dibistanê — Okulun öğrencileri
Keçên cîranan — Komşuların kızları
Seyên kuçeyan — Sokakların köpekleri
Not: Tamlanan ünlü ile bitiyorsa -yên eki kullanılır. Tamlayan ünlü ile bitiyorsa -yan eki kullanılır.

PLURAL IM KURDISCHEN — LEKTION 17
──────────────────────────────
PLURALSUFFIX
Im Kurdischen (Kurmanji) nehmen Substantive allein stehend kein Pluralsuffix. Es gibt zwei Pluralsuffixe: -an und -ên. -ên wird nur für das besessene Substantiv in Possessivkonstruktionen verwendet; -an wird für das Objekt im Präsens und Futur transitiver Verben und für das Subjekt im Präteritum verwendet. Dies liegt daran, dass Kurdisch eine ergative Sprache ist.
Regeln: Maskuline Substantive nehmen normalerweise -an.
Heval hatin. (Der Freund kam. / Die Freunde kamen.)
Heval dê were.
Min hespek heye. (Ich habe ein Pferd.)
Wî mehînek hebû. (Er hatte eine Stute.)
Me hespek heye. (Wir haben ein Pferd.)
PLURAL IN POSSESSIVKONSTRUKTIONEN

PLURAL IN KURDISH — LESSON 17
──────────────────────────────
PLURAL SUFFIX
In Kurdish (Kurmanji), nouns do not take a plural suffix when used alone. There are two plural suffixes: -an and -ên. -ên is only used for the possessed noun in possessive constructions; -an is used for the object in the present and future tenses of transitive verbs, and for the subject in the past tense. This is because Kurdish is an ergative language.
Rules: Masculine nouns usually take -an. Feminine nouns usually take -ên. When the noun ends in a vowel, -y- is inserted: -yan.
Examples:
kur → kuran (son → sons)
bav → bavan (father → fathers)
keç → keçên (daughter → daughters)
dayik → dayikên (mother → mothers)
mal → malan (house → houses)
se → seyan (dog → dogs)
ERGATIVITY AND PLURAL
Kurdish is an ergative language. This means that in the past tense, the subject of transitive verbs is in the oblique case, and the verb is conjugated according to the object. Therefore, in the past tense, plural nouns that are subjects take the suffix -an.
Intransitive Verbs: In intransitive verbs, the subject is in the plain form in all tenses. The plurality of the subject is understood from the verb conjugation.
Heval tê. / Heval tên. (The friend comes. / The friends come.)
Heval hat. / Heval hatin. (The friend came. / The friends came.)
Heval dê were. / Heval dê werin. (The friend will come. / The friends will come.)
Transitive Verbs: In the past tense, the subject is in the oblique case and the object is plain. In the present and future tenses, the subject is plain and the object is oblique.
Ez hevalan dibînim. (I see the friends.)
Min heval dîtin. (I saw the friends.)
Heval hatin. (The friends came.)
HEYE / HENE
In Kurdish, two words are used to show existence: heye and hene. Heye is used for singular things, hene is used for plural things.
Heye — there is
Hene — there are
Li vir pirtûkek heye. (There is a book here.)
Li vir pirtûk hene. (There are books here.)
Negation: Heye and hene become tune (singular) and tunin (plural) in negative form. However, tune is generally used for both.
Li malê pisîk tune. (There is no cat at home.)
Li vir pirtûk tune. (There are no books here.)
Possession: Heye and hene are used with oblique pronouns (min, te, wî/wê...) to give the meaning of "to have".
Min hespek heye. (I have a horse.)
Wî mehînek hebû. (He had a mare.)
Me hespek heye. (We have a horse.)
PLURAL IN POSSESSIVE CONSTRUCTIONS
In possessive constructions, the possessed noun takes the suffix -ên, and the possessor takes the suffix -an.
Pirtûkên şagirtan — The students' books
Zarokên dibistanê — The school's students
Keçên cîranan — The neighbors' daughters
Seyên kuçeyan — The streets' dogs
Note: If the possessed noun ends in a vowel, the suffix -yên is used. If the possessor ends in a vowel, the suffix -yan is used.
